We Welcome You Just as You Are
First United is a supportive and inclusive faith community that provides a place to explore and deepen one’s spirituality.
During this Season of COVID-19, we are "being church" by practicing physical distancing through spirit nearing on-line.
To the right, is information about our on-line activities which are all dated to April 30th because they are happening weekly now and continue through the month of April.
Here is a video of welcome by our Minister, Brian Cornelius, https://youtu.be/G9uwg0e6DZY and if you look in the Blog, you can read Pandemic Reflections in dialogue with Scripture stories. These began on March 15th.
As a friendly and caring community with a mix of all ages, families, and individuals from a variety of religious backgrounds, we join together in community with our strengths and weaknesses, our health and our brokenness. We provide a safe environment to question, to heal, and to become part of a community.
We are an Affirming Congregation that fully welcomes and includes persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
Sunday Services (11:15 a.m)
Our Sunday services are joyful and creatively provide a contemporary expression of the Christian faith. Each week we remind ourselves that “we are not alone” by gathering as a community.
Activities during the Week
First United has many programs through a variety of small groups that include youth, seniors, meditation, choir, study and discussion, monthly pot-luck suppers, Healing Pathway, and more.
